Importation of exotic woods

I offer a variety of exotic wood species for retail sale, whether you are an individual or a professional. Since 2020, I have been importing Class 1 timber directly from forest communities in Guatemala, my country of birth. This timber is very durable and comes from sustainably managed forests. All our timber is FSC certified.

Manchiche, also known as Mayan cherry, is very dense and yellowish-brown to reddish-brown in color, sometimes streaked with dark veins. It is a Class 1 hardwood that is very durable and ages beautifully to a pinkish-grey.
Common uses: decking, siding, doors and frames, countertops, shelves, and furniture.

Hormigo, also known as Macacauba, is very dense and prized for its color, ranging from reddish-orange to dark reddish-brown, its fine texture, and its natural sheen.

Common uses: flooring, stairs, furniture and cabinetry, musical instruments, small turned objects.

Catalox is also known as Guatemalan ebony. The heartwood is dark reddish-brown to almost black, sometimes tinged with a deep purple. The sapwood, clearly defined, is pale yellowish-white.

Common uses: tables, flooring, furniture and cabinetmaking, guitars, turning, and other small specialty items.

Cedar, also known as Spanish cedar, has a fairly uniform color ranging from light pink to reddish-brown. This wood is considered robust and resistant to termites and other insects.
